Week 4: Twitter

Wow, I was just getting comfortable with RSS feeds and then there is Twitter. So much to offer, I feel like a kid in a candy store.

Great job in presenting twitter to staff in this review. My favorite part is all the sites and examples that we can review. Thank you, thank you!

Interesting how the public uses twitter for their libraries. I'm impressed.

Week RSS

I have found this section very exciting. I was most impressed with the libraries that are offering RSS feeds to the public. That's great! Hopefully we at HCPL will also be able to create something like this for our patrons.

Setting the feeds was a little challenging. But again, with the positive support from my co-workers, it was truly fun.

I'm really enjoying this training. Can't wait to twitter.

Blog Week

Creating my blog was fun and a little scary. The best part was seeing the positive engery and excitement from my staff and everyone being so helpful with each other.

Great job, Web 2.0 team. The information prepared for the Introduction and Blog Week were very good. After reading this material, I felt that I had a clear understanding of what Web 2.0 provides and what a blog is, but I also felt that this info was presented to staff in a very positive way.
Thank you all for the many hours you spent in preparing this project. So far I am really enjoying this review and I look forward to more training.
